Community Connection

Barbour-Pourron Plumbing maintains a strong commitment to serving the surrounding community as members of the Clayton Chamber of Commerce. Johnston County’s fastest growing town sustains a thriving business environment we’re proud to be a part of, but we remain dedicated to preserving Clayton’s small-town charm.

As members of the Clayton community, we support the Clayton schools’ Booster Clubs, which raises funds for student scholarships and athletic programs. Our support of the Clayton Civitan enables us to help sponsor youth sports, Boy Scouts for children ages 7 to 12, Special Olympics, the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, and Boys and Girls Home.

Habitat for Humanity’s name speaks for itself, and we’re proud to be associated with the international nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry. Barbour-Pourron Plumbing participated in Habitat for Humanity of Wake County’s Home Builders Blitz of 2003 and 2006. In 2003 a total of 24 houses were completed in just one week, and in 2006 a total of 20 homes were built in one week.

Barbour-Pourron Plumbing also assisted Home Life Communities with ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Raleigh Edition” project that aired Jan. 21, 2007. As the general contractor, Atreus Homes & Communities hired us to provide all of the pipes and fittings for the “Extreme Makeover” home. Sixteen of our dedicated employees completed all of the plumbing work for this house in just seven days.

Barbour-Pourron Plumbing’s employees remain dedicated to making the Triangle and beyond a better place to live through our community service efforts and compassion for others. We’re happy to do our part in making each day a little brighter for those in need.
